Role Overview:

As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of our Sales French team. This dual-role position combines leadership responsibilities with hands-on sales activities, ensuring that our team meets and exceeds targets.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership:

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) and Account Executives to achieve and surpass sales targets.
  • Provide regular coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to team members.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies, processes, and best practices to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor and analyze team performance metrics, reporting results to senior management.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that encourages continuous improvement and innovation.

Sales Development:

  • Conduct thorough research to understand prospective clients’ needs and pain points.
  • Engage with prospects to generate interest and schedule meetings or product demos for the sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Fluent in both English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in a sales leadership role, with the ability to lead and develop high-performing sales teams.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, strategies, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.

Your work:

First 30 Days:

Onboarding and Training:

  • Complete the company’s onboarding program, including product/service training and understanding internal processes.
  • Get acquainted with the team, company culture, and key stakeholders.
  • Familiarize yourself with the CRM system and sales tools used by the team.

Assessment and Planning:

  • Review current sales processes, team performance metrics, and existing strategies.
  • Begin developing a comprehensive plan to address immediate team needs and align with overall sales goals.
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with each team member to understand their strengths, challenges, and career goals.

First 60 Days:

Team Development:

  • Implement initial improvements to the sales process based on the assessment.
  • Start providing regular coaching and feedback sessions to team members. Establish clear individual and team performance goals and expectations.

Sales Activities:

  • Begin actively engaging in lead generation and qualification activities alongside the team.
  • Schedule and conduct sales meetings and product demos to understand client needs and refine the sales pitch.

Performance Tracking:

  • Start using performance-tracking mechanisms to monitor team progress and effectiveness.
  • Begin reporting key performance metrics to senior management.

First 90 Days:

Performance Optimization:

  • Conduct a comprehensive review of team performance, identifying areas for further improvement.
  • Adjust strategies and processes based on performance data and feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members share best practices and support each other.

Achieving Targets:

  • Ensure the team is on track to meet or exceed the sales targets set for the quarter.
  • Celebrate initial successes and milestones achieved by the team.

Long-Term Planning:

  • Develop a long-term plan for continuous team development and performance enhancement.
  • Present a detailed report to senior management outlining achievements, challenges, and future team development opportunities.

Interview Process:
